If you have a specific question which can't be answered in my guides, or that wasn't clear, please ask me and I'll do my best to assist. If you need further help, please check out my gallery folder. I hope that will not discredit my advice for helping in reference sheet creation. My reference sheets are not the best out there, but I chose a basic construction for mine that I knew I could keep consistent for over a hundred characters. My summarized thoughts on creating a reference sheet. That is why I encourage typing bios up separately. The shorter the bio, the less developed the character will sound to those who haven’t read the story. I encourage bios to reach lengths which cannot be achieved on one single page of an image. Some people use very tiny fonts on a digital reference sheet and can fit a small bio onto the page, but it is a limitation. Just because you add a lot of words onto your reference sheet page doesn’t make it a bio.
To get the most out of the space, I’d suggest bullet points and/or phrases as opposed to complete sentences. Even one word descriptors are completely fine.
#CHARACTER REFERENCE SHEET FULL#
Reference sheets should be full body, showing as much of the character design as possible. It makes more sense to do a standard standing pose that shows us their whole body rather than a complicated sitting or action pose that may cover up their outfit or make it look confusing to those who do not know it.
